Citizens Advice Swale

We offer free, confidential and impartial advice to people living or working in and around Faversham, Sheppey and Sittingbourne. We provide advice on a wide range of issues including debt, benefits, housing, employment, consumer, relationships, discrimination, tax, healthcare and education. Getting involved is what we do at Citizens Advice Swale. We help people sort out their problems, by giving all kinds of advice – and it’s all totally free. We’re sure you’ve heard of us, but did you know that- We’re not part of a big, faceless, national organisation- We’re a totally independent small charity run by local people- We don’t get money from central Government? We thought not. In 2021/22 we advised 3,600 clients on 15,200 issues, and income gains, debts written off and benefits realised totalled with our help. We rely on donations and grants in order to change the lives of people in need in Swale. In 2022/23 every £1 invested in Citizens Advice Swale was worth £12.04 in value to the people we helped, or £21.62 in public value. The smallest contribution can make a big difference.
