City Eye

For over thirty five years City Eye has championed and encouraged those working, playing and experimenting with film in Southampton and its surrounding region. We offer professional development, support, training, screening events and networking opportunities to people working in the industry and those that aspire to. We recognise the difficulties and discrimination individuals and communities can face. City Eye strives to actively challenge these through our work and our approach. This is our past and our future. At City Eye, we love film. We are dedicated to the promotion and development of film and digital culture in the region. We run a programme of film events throughout the year and we present an annual festival which is packed full of screenings, talks, workshops and competitions. We also celebrate, through all our work, the transformational process of filmmaking; the learning and development of the individuals we work with, their participation and personal achievement.
