City Racing

City Racing brings horse racing to the world’s greatest cities. Having created the surface for the Global Champions Tour on Horse Guards Parade in 2014, Andrews Bowen knew that it could be used for even larger city-based events. The idea of an urban flat race therefore developed, and we have been working closely with regulating bodies to make this idea a reality. In 2016, City Racing Ltd was founded and has developed an innovative and exciting Global Street Series. The founders of the company (Andrews Bowen, JS Communications, SEL UK and The Jockey Club) bring together significant industry leadership across horse racing, media, marketing, event delivery and management to offer the ultimate in competitive racing to previously inaccessible iconic sites. From 2022, landmark roads in cities around the globe will be transformed to bring horse racing to the masses through these innovative and first of their kind events.
