Citystudio Oslo

Here, city staff, students, businesses, and academics collaborate on sustainable projects through a full-time course in the fall semesters and network activities. In our courses, students take the lead. They design and implement projects while city staff and academics facilitate learning processes. The fall course focuses on sustainable urban development and learning occurs through project-based teamwork in an interdisciplinary and community based environment. Students describe the course as fun, practical and challenging. Our CSO Network activities aim to extend and invite learning, engagement and collaboration outside of our courses. In 2021, we will launch an online book club and host social activities to facilitate collaboration for sustainability. CSO is a partnership between UiO, NMBU, OsloMet, AHO and the City of Oslo.
