Civil and Structural Engineering Consultants (Pvt) Ltd, more commonly known as ‘CSE Consultants’ is a state of the art Engineering consultancy firm comprising some of the prominent Engineers in the industry and academia. The Managing Director Eng. Shiromal Fernando is one of the leading structural engineers in Sri Lanka, who is well known for his expertise in high-rise buildings, has been the Principal Structural Engineer for many tall buildings including the tallest building in Sri Lanka. He is the present Country Representative of ‘Council on Tall Buildings & Urban Habitat (CTBUH)’. In addition to hundreds of projects undertaken in Sri Lanka, CSEC has executed number of projects outside Sri Lanka as well including Maldives, Burma, Uganda and Saudi Arabia. The Maldives National University had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CSEC, to enhance the engineering intellectual capacities of the University through collaboration with CSEC as an industry leader in Engineering in South Asia. CSEC was the Consultancy firm to publish the highest number of technical papers for two consecutive years in annual sessions of the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka.
