Culturally Sensitive Strategy. Design. Delivery. Civitas Phoenix provides niche multidisciplinary services that connect three disciplinary sectors: a) strategic management & organisational configuration, b) urban development programmes & urban design, and c) disaster risk reduction & reconstruction. We undertake research, applied projects and training, and advocate culturally sensitive approach. • Disaster risk reduction: We support you to explore areas for improvements towards urban resilience and disaster risk reduction. Cross-examine those areas against the existing capacity, procedures and socio-cultural characteristics. • Reconstruction: We support you to unfold complexities of multi-organisational and multi-objective reconstruction programmes. Formulate and configure the process of reconstruction programmes and projects that fit the context towards better performance and results. • Urban design: Civitas Phoenix understands the extensive network of city makers and the contextual elements of a successful urban projects. We bring innovative space conceptions to correspond to the strategic importance of the project and examining it through its relations with the city makers. • Strategic management and organisational architecture: At both strategic and operational levels, we apply a strategic management perspective to a range of services that are of the concerns of managers and executive bodies. For example these services include: needs assessment; policy and strategy formulation; organisational and institutional development; and monitoring and evaluation/impact assessment. Civitas Phoenix advocates a context-based integrated approach through crafted and culturally examined solutions. We cross examine sociocultural aspects of urban projects and programmes towards their successful delivery and sustainability.
