Clan Cottages

Clan Cottages is a family run concern near Oban in Argyll, Scotland, which will make you feel right at home. There are five luxury thatched self catering cottages laid out like a small celtic settlement sitting in a five acre small holding which is also home to a flock of pedigree Texel sheep! Each cottage has its own individual garden area to relax in. There is a barbeque area and there are also beautiful walks around Kilmore which is steeped in history dating back to the bronze age. There is a crannog in the loch in full view of the cottages. Within walking distance there is also a neolithic chambered cairn at Dalineun which is in the field just opposite us. North and south of the cairn there is a line of ten Bronze Age cairns stretching over a mile. There are many other historic landmarks which can be found in various publications written about Oban, Kilmore and Kilbride. We have a small collection of local books which visitors can look at. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area.
