Clare Nash Architecture Ltd (CNA) is a design-led, energy-conscious architecture practice based on the Oxfordshire–Northamptonshire border. We are a small, highly collaborative team, specialising in rural architecture with a strong focus on eco-refurbishment, low-energy new builds, and sustainable design inspired by the local vernacular. At CNA, we are passionate about designing buildings that respond sensitively to their location, context, climate, and materials, while always prioritising the needs of the people who live and work in them. We work closely with our clients from initial concept design through to planning, building regulations, and on-site construction support, offering a tailored level of involvement depending on each client’s needs. Whether it’s a traditional barn conversion or a contemporary eco-home, we believe great design comes from collaboration, care, and contextual thinking. Our flexible, remote-working model allows us to deliver high-quality design with financial and time efficiency. We meet regularly for in-person design sessions and site visits, ensuring cohesion and creativity across projects. Working from different locations keeps us inspired and focused—bringing fresh ideas to every project we take on.
