Purpose The purpose of the Clark Consulting Group at the Clark University School of Business is to provide an experiential learning lab for entrepreneurs and graduate business students. Our mission is to augment the services and support offered by the Small Business Development Center through hands-on consulting projects, mentorship opportunities, and real-world business experiences. By engaging with local businesses and applying classroom knowledge in practical settings, we aim to cultivate a new generation of innovative and socially responsible business leaders who are equipped to drive sustainable growth in their communities. Problem Small and medium-sized businesses often face a lack of specialized consulting services to support their growth and address the many challenges of today’s competitive, uncertain and technologically dynamic economy. Additionally, graduate students lacking practical experience in the job market encounter difficulties in accessing relevant opportunities for hands-on learning and skill development. Many of these locally trained international students leave the United States for employment abroad.
