Clarkson and Woods Ltd.(formerly Michael Woods Associates) is an ecological consultancy with a long proven track record of delivery high quality ecological services to clients in the South West and beyond. Our staff comprise specialists of many disciplines, and we are able to offer expert advice to clients with regard protected species and wildlife legislation. Our clients include house builders, renewable energy developers, public sector, charities and private individuals. We strive to deliver precise, high quality reports suitable for informing planning applications, whilst always representing our clients interests throughout the life cycle of development projects, from pre-application consultation, to post construction management and monitoring where required. Contracts are undertaken under the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) code of professional conduct and every consultant is a member of CIEEM. Protected species surveys are carried out by experienced ecologists holding the requisite Natural England or NRW.
