C2C (formerly, The Literacy Council of Montgomery County, Maryland, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1963. Our mission is to enable adults to transform their lives and enrich our community through English literacy. The Literacy Council offers basic literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction through one-on-one tutoring, small group, and classroom programs. We rely on volunteers to help provide many of our direct services.
