Clean Energy Sourcing, which was founded in 2008, is one of the leading green power suppliers, direct marketers of renewable energies and operators of virtual power plants in Germany and Austria. With offices in Leipzig and Frankfurt the company supplies industrial customers with power from renewable energy sources. As an operator of virtual power plants, CLENS enables the market price optimized operation of distributed power plants, power storages, and industrial processes, as well as being able to offer these capacities in various ancillary service markets. Through these capabilities CLENS is able to optimize the revenues for its producers and to reduce the energy costs for its industrial and commercial customers, all while playing its part in stabilizing the power grid.
