Hazardous chemicals damage human health and the environment and are found in everyday products, homes, workplaces and communities. Regulations control some hazardous chemicals but current efforts are failing to protect human health and the environment. That is why Clean Production Action promotes safer chemical use in our economy. We design and deliver strategic solutions for green chemicals, sustainable materials and environmentally preferable products. We do this through four major programs: The Chemical Footprint Project, GreenScreen® For Safer Chemicals, BizNGO and The Investor Environmental Health Network.
