Cleaner Cooking Coalition

Cleaner energy for cooking is essential for human wellbeing. Cooking is an integral part of daily life, community and culture. Nations of the world have committed to ensuring access to affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy for all by 2030. We started the Cleaner Cooking Coalition in 2019, as we and other signatories signed the Wexford Declaration to advocate for the billions of people who rely on traditional cooking methods, and commit to improving biomass options for cooking, to reduce climate impacts and improve families’ health and wellbeing. We are now taking this one step further - we aim to get a stove in the hands of everyone who needs one, and work to make sure pathways to cleaner cooking is available now to the billions of people in the world who need it.
