Cleland McIver was set up by Keith McIver 40 years ago. Originally a manufacturer of readymade curtains and roller blinds for the retail and mail order markets. The family has been involved in textiles for over 100 years through three generations. Throughout its history the company has developed a loyal and long standing workforce dedicated to support the business and its customers. Over the years strong partnerships have been developed with mills in Europe and Asia to develop exclusive ranges of products for the ever changing UK market. In recent years the emphasis has moved away from manufacture on site supported by outmakers filling our cushions and seat pads, to that of importing finished products and setting up an in-house manufacturing facility for bean bag, seat pad & cushion filling. Recent investment has totally transformed the company. Our modern, self-contained site now includes additional warehousing space, additional offices and an up to date IT infrastructure to service the ever increasing demands for speed and accuracy. The company have, for 50 years, been UK agents for biederlack supplying major household textile retailers in the UK with high quality German manufactured blankets. As a committed supplier to Dunelm since its conception, Cleland McIver have achieved “Supplier of the Year” status regularly and work in close partnership at all levels with Dunelm to develop new products and improved service.
