Our mission is to develop game changing green hydrogen technologies and drive adoption of clean energy applications. THE CHALLENGE Increasing demand for green hydrogen is key to driving investment in commercially viable solutions for large scale production, distribution, and storage of clean hydrogen. At the vehicle level, this requires substantial reduction in the cost of the key components used in PEM based hydrogen fuel cells and electrolyzers as well increasing performance and long term durability. To start, Clenersys seeks to address the issue of corrosion of metallic bipolar plates (BPP) in PEM fuel cells which reduces performance, lifetime and increases system downtime, maintenance cost and overall total cost of ownership (TCO). Bipolar plates (BPPs) are a crucial component in PEM Fuel Cell Stacks. They represent 80% of its weight, 50% of its volume, and 30% of its cost.
