Climate Commons

The Climate Commons is a new model for climate funding—powered by people, not politics. We exist to help Colorado’s climate nonprofits scale their fundraising, build long-term capacity, and unlock bold, community-backed solutions to the climate crisis. In a moment of rising urgency and shrinking federal support, we believe local action is more essential than ever. At the heart of our work is the Climate Commons Incubator—an 10-week cohort program that guides nonprofits through the design, launch, and growth of high-impact, community-driven fundraising campaigns. We combine entrepreneurial best practices with deep nonprofit experience, enabling grassroots leaders to raise serious funding, expand their visibility, and engage a new generation of supporters. But we’re more than a training program. We’re a community. Our growing network includes climate scientists, nonprofit founders, artists, donors, policy advocates, entrepreneurs, and everyday people who care deeply about the future of this planet. We believe fundraising doesn’t have to be lonely or transactional. It can be creative. Collective. Joyful. And transformational.
