Climate Innovation Challenge

The Climate Innovation Challenge is a virtual, cross-cultural program focused on climate challenges in the global South and North, aimed at climate-focused social enterprise and university-level students. CIC is managed by PathFinder and Explorate and supported by UNDP Bangladesh Accelerator Lab, Columbia Climate School, and The Resolution Project. Program Framework Problem solving: Using design thinking & systems thinking, participants are asked to frame the problem in a human-centric way & observe the interconnectedness between factors when it comes to generating solutions for the problem. Project management: Appropriate task allocation, time management, budget coordination & communication techniques are some of the skills that participants will learn through project management. Business case study: Participants are asked to find solutions for real-life business issues faced by Agro-enterprises across the globe. These enterprises also actively engage the participants in the program. Climate, agriculture & food security: These three crucial themes are linked with the relevant UN SDGs, including the goals to reduce climate footprint, poverty & promote good health.
