Climate Management Limited

Climate Management Ltd was founded in 2007 and has been in the business of Renewable Energy since then. In 2007, Klaus Trifellner the Director of Climate Management was at the invitation of the then President Mwanawasa, engaged to implement a Project on High Efficient Cooking Systems in Zambia. A project with an investment of approximately €7 Million was implemented to supply households with high efficient Cooking Systems in the framework of the Clean Development Mechanism. The project generated Carbon Credits, which were sold to a German Electricity Company. After the completion of the Project, Climate Management continued selling high efficient Cooking Systems without the Carbon Mechanism. In 2016, Climate Management Ltd extended it’s market by targeting civil servants and began selling it’s goods through the Government Payroll system. Due to growing demands of our clients, in 2018 we extended our business to Solar Products and partnered with a Swiss based Solar Company Mpower Ventures AG to supply us with all solar products. Since 2018 Climate Management has served more than clients mostly in rural areas through its network dotted across the country. Based on good customer relationships built with customers over time as well as demand for other services, the company extended its business to financing Consumer products like fridges, Mobile phones, building materials and various household goods and deducts through the government payroll system. For this purpose another company was incorporated in April 2022 called Climate Smart Buy Ltd to accommodate buyers needing goods of their choice. Finally, Climate Management Ltd services bigger clients with Solar energy needs from small appliances to complete solar system and backup energy systems installation.
