Clio Galea

Clio Galea was established in 2021 in New York City. Contemplative and considerate, each garment is the product of the designer’s singular vision. Creating harmony between Western Heritage and contemporary silhouettes is at the core of the brand. Galea co-founded Clio Galea shortly after graduating from the BFA Fashion Design program at Parsons School of Design, and has since been working to refine and share her vision. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Clio Galea was raised in a family of Eastern European immigrants and was exposed to the fine arts and fashion design from a young age. In addition to her fashion design degree from Parsons School of Design, Galea has spent time studying fashion and textile design at Central Saint Martins and the London College of Fashion. Her work has been exhibited in the Louvre Museum in Paris and at the CSM White Show and British Fashion Awards 2019 in London. She is also a practicing fine artist, and is currently mentoring under acclaimed contemporary artist Dorothea Rockburne as the Studio Manager of her Soho Manhattan studio, R Studios.
