It started with love and understanding. Tom McMullen, an engineer by trade and caregiver by necessity, cared for his sister after polio left her with limited dexterity. Later, when caring for his late wife Trudy through her health challenges, he witnessed firsthand how simple daily tasks could become overwhelming obstacles when facing physical limitations. What if there was a better way? One day, Tom looked at a regular nail clipper and asked himself:"How does someone with a hand issue clip their nails? What about someone with one hand? Or a blind person?" He sought to solve these questions and develop a better way with all of these people in mind. Tom envisioned electric nail clippers that would be safe, eliminate nicks and cuts, and capture every clipping. Working alongside his daughter Melanie, he transformed that vision into ClipDifferent—a company that doesn't just sell products but restores confidence "one clip at a time."
