Launching on Instagram in September. Values Remember when clothes had (a) clear purpose(s), work wear, military and Sunday Best? No me neither, I’m not that old…;0) but I do love clothes that had a special purpose, the fabric, the construction, the craftmanship and details to deliver a function. quality and design where it was needed, thus maintaining a timelessness. Handcrafted by artisans who continue the specific traditions of a particular region and its people, artisans who keep alive the knowledge that was born from an activity or sport. New, worn & loved Over the years I’ve collected so many items and altered them to my own version of perfection, like everything I own. from shortening the sleeve on a t-shirt to having bespoke tweeds tailored. And then I want to keep them all forever. fortunately I found a lovely little Italian lady seamstress - Stella, right on my street here in Cologne who I took clothes to be altered. Then I needed some jeans repaired (and many many other things since), I had expected just a simple patch, when I got them back she repaired them with what I’ve now learnt is called visible mending.duh. or the more decorative Japanese version Sashiko, so now there are no excuses to throw away the items you love - new, worn & loved
