Clothing Library Griffith
Reimagining the way society consumes clothing. The clothing library provides clothing to Griffith University students who need business wear for job interviews, internships, work placements and graduations. The clothing is provided through donations by Griffith staff, alumni and partnerships in the community. The goals of the Clothing Library are: 1. To improve student equity and employment opportunities by providing quality business wear to students at no cost. Taking action towards climate change by reducing the Griffith community’s textile consumption and waste, thereby addressing the growing societal issue of fast fashion. Raising awareness in students, staff and alumni of the prevalence of exploitation in textile supply chains, and of ethical alternatives.
