Cloudbank

Cloudbank is a startup founded in 2020 to develop software to digitally originate, underwrite and securitize SBA and other business loans using advanced technology. We saw how slow and inefficient the system was and wanted to make it faster. As a result of the recent COVID-19 crisis, we have suspended our product development and pivoted in order to rapidly address the crisis facing small businesses. The government has announced a $2tn stimulus, but the transmission mechanism to small businesses is broken. Banks will not be able to handle the volume of requests from small businesses. Small business owners do not have the capacity to respond to the information requests of banks who may not have received a financial update from their clients for several years and have a poor understanding of the business and industry. We are a pool of MBAs, CPAs, CFAs and professionals throughout the country who have the skills to help small businesses secure emergency funding and navigate this crisis. If small businesses don't survive there won't be a workplace for anyone to go back to. We want to mobilize this talent to save as many small businesses across the country as possible.
