cloudSME is a independent European cloud technology provider founded 2016 - our origin is the Research Project "cloudSME project" out of the FP7 (Framework Programme 7) of the European Commission - Start of the project 2013. Since 2013 we want to support the European economy with independent cloud solutions build up on the research outcome of the FP7 project - what matters most to us is the strong binding within Europe. CloudSME’s stakeholders come out of 6 different European countries and is expanded by the advisory board that put together experts from different fields, e.g. simulation, parallel computing, engineering, ICT, manufacturing, marketing and much more. There is no longer a need for companies to set up local soft- and hardware, you can simply provide your software services in customized portals or in the AppCenter connected to cloud- and high performance computer (HPC) data center. Instead of using a local installation on your own computer, you are able to set up virtual machines with the required physical characteristics to run your software services seamlessly - without reducing the computional power of your local computer.
