Cloudy Bay Clams

Cloudy Bay Clams is a family run business based at the top of New Zealand’s South Island, in Marlborough. We harvest wild surf clams, which are native and indigenous to New Zealand. The clams can be found naturally in the turbulent surf zone throughout the country‘s pristine, nutrient-rich waters. This environment ensures the shellfish develop an outstanding quality and taste profile. The clams are harvested in a non-invasive manner, using a system which mimics a naturally occurring storm event, which has a minimal impact on the environment. The Friend of the Sea certification confirms our efforts and commitment to sustainability. Cloudy Bay Clams have a delicious mouth-filling flavour and provide a unique dining experience. The clams can be enjoyed raw or cooked.
