青草公益 Clover Youth
Guangzhou Clover Youth Development Service Center (hereafter Clover Youth) is a registered non-profit organization in Guangzhou, China. We cultivate necessary soft skills for underprivileged teenagers to thrive in China's growing urban society. Our vision is to empower a generation of Chinese youth "To Love, To Think, To Change". From the first summer camp in 2009 to 2019, Clover Youth has served about 6,789 teenagers from migrant workers' families. Through summer camps and weekend team activities, migrant teenagers strengthen their self-confidence, develop interpersonal and team-working skills, and enrich their knowledge about possible career choices after middle school. Every year Clover Youth mobilizes over 200 college and high school students to become volunteer facilitators and activity designers. We also work closely with schools for migrant children and community centers in migrant-concentrated neighborhoods. Over the years we have formed a vibrant and supportive community of students, teachers, and social workers who aspire for a more equitable urban space.
