once a private estate, clublevante rests between the two most distinctive landmarks of pantelleria, the arc of the elephant and the faraglione. the guest rooms, all dammusi (i.e. vaulted rural house built with lava blocks and low dome), are immersed in a maze of authentic hand-laid rock terraces overlooking the sea, characterized by the cultivation of “zibibbo grapes”. a true escape, the resort remains purposefully absent of modern glitz, digital distractions and the frantic pace of today’s world.
