At CMSU Behavioral Health & Developmental Services, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health, intellectual disability, and substance abuse services to the residents of Columbia, Montour, Snyder, and Union Counties in Pennsylvania. Established in the late 1960s following legislative mandates for community-based care, our organization has grown to support over individuals annually with a variety of programs that aim to enhance quality of life through independence and personal development. We offer a range of services including crisis intervention, case management, early intervention, and prevention services, alongside specialized programs for drug and alcohol treatment. Our mission is fueled by a community-wide partnership approach, ensuring that every program we offer is tailored to meet the diverse needs of our community members. Our team, consisting of over 230 dedicated professionals and supported by multiple advisory boards and the Joinder Board of County Commissioners, works tirelessly to maintain and expand services that cater to our four-county area. As a non-profit agency, our work is primarily funded by federal, state, and local government sources, allowing us to focus on providing the highest quality of care to those in need.
