CNE Business Development Ltd was established in 2004, to provide consulting services to Government Departments, Regional Authorities, Private Enterprises, Associations and Non-Governmental Organizations. The company is specializing in the planning, coordination and management of EU funded projects dealing with social, environmental and economic issues and the management and coordination of events. In March 2014, CNE initiated the “Smart Cities Mediterranean Partnership (SMART-MED)” with over 120 organizations registered in the Partnership between multidisciplinary organizations; research centers, industry, innovative SME’s, civil society actors and other stakeholders. The scope of the Partnership is to identify, develop and deploy replicable, balanced and integrated solutions in the energy, transport, and ICT in select pilot cities in the Mediterranean region. CNE founded EUMED Consortium of organizations and professionals in May 2013.
