Our current focus, and primary specialty, is offerring desktop solutions on the internet using Microsoft Remote Data Services (RDS). RDS is the successor name to Terminal Services and offers very fast browser-less interface to Microsoft Server 2008 R2. We can put your venerable shared applications on the web, or in the cloud as some would have it, at very high speed and security, and we can do this at a very reasonable cost of under $25 per user per month for 5 users. This fixed cost can cover several mission critical shared applications thus making the cost even more attractive. Cochrane Data Works has developed database solutions for business and for individuals. Current solutions in use are for healthcare, education, customer relationship management (CRM), and real estate using Alpha Five database development software from Alpha Software. We are consultants developing database solutions for the Alpha Software Professional Services Program. We sell and support BusinessDesk (TM) desktop CRM software for consultants which includes project and time tracking, day planning, invoice tracking, calendar, and email, call, and letter tracking. We also have featured recently in work on social media for In-Bound Marketing and Social CRM as applies to the Printing Industry and are consultants for new venture start-ups.
