Codelab Unifesp

The CodeLab-Unifesp program brings together students, professors from ICT-Unifesp, and the community interested in using computational algorithms to solve everyday or extraordinary problems, creatively developing open-source and free applications aimed at society, primarily through interaction with civil society organizations. The problems are proposed by non-profit social organizations (for example, Non-Governmental Organizations - NGOs). From there, the students work to solve the problem, implement the solution using programming techniques, and share the methods used to develop the solution. The social impact ranges from providing open-source and free software to transferring the knowledge produced through this development.
