At Codsall Middle School we are committed to supporting every pupil as they flourish both academically and personally. We know that each child is an individual, with unique strengths and passions, so we work hard to provide a broad range of experiences, offering leadership opportunities and many chances to ‘get involved’ with something different. We value the partnership between school and home which is vital to the successful development of the children in our care. It is our passionate belief that for our children to be successful they should experience a balanced and varied curriculum. We will never narrow our provision to the detriment of our desire to develop and engage the whole child as a happy, successful lifelong learner across the range of all subject disciplines. It is crucial to us that our pupils are self-motivated, creative and have the ability to work as part of a team. We teach them to be ‘Responsible, Reflective and Resilient’ learners who know what good learning is and who take responsibility for their own learning journey. We support and extend our pupils' passion for learning, fostered by our staff's passion for teaching and a broad range of opportunities to enrich our curriculum. Above all, we want our children to be happy, have confidence and possess a real zest for life. We want our pupils to grow to become outward-looking ‘Codsall Citizens’, making positive contributions to our community and the world around them; to this, the Codsall Way and its core values of ‘Considerate, Ambitious and Proud’ are central.
