Founded in Genoa in 1895, for over 120 years Coeclerici has been a reference point in commodity supplies for the steel and chemical industries. Today, thanks to this consolidated business experience, it is the leading company of a Group present in two business area, energy and industry, with high added value, with a constant diversification activity and a strategic-financial model aimed at development through acquisitions and organic growth. Coeclerici S.p.A. is the Group’s holding company, coordinating and supporting Group activities in 12 countries around the world. Characterised by a strong international vocation, the Group has been lead since 1992 by the Chairman and CEO Paolo Clerici, and operates through three highly specialized business units: • Mining division, which deals with the extraction of energy coal from its own mines located in the Kemerovo Region (Russia); • Trading division, which operates mainly in the marketing of raw materials such as coal, anthracite, coke and iron ore, serving a network of clients in over 25 countries; • Industry division, established at the beginning of 2017 with the acquisition of IMS Deltamatic, now IMS Technologies, one of the world’s leading operators in the production of high-tech industrial machinery and plants for the converting and packaging industries. The Group is continuing the process of diversification of its business, with an industrial approach and great ability for innovation.
