Coffis
The Coffis (French Council of Islamic Finance) is an organization dedicated to the development of Islamic finance in France and in the Francophone countries. It is composed of several committees working especially on the translation of the AAOIFI standards, training and certification, Banking and Finance, Takaful and the Waqf. The Coffis has emerged today as a confirmed Sharia Board which participate with Paris EUROPLACE to the promotion of the Islamic finance industry with the aim to positionate France as a "HUB" of Islamic finance in Europe.
