Cognitive Behavior Therapy Associates, LLC.(CBTA) is now solely an organization conducting psychological evaluations and expert opinions and testimony in the area of immigration. Dr. Vermilyea is the owner and sole employee. Dr. Jim as many of you know me (Dr. Jim Vermilyea) works closely with your attorney to provide the appropriate evaluation for your filing considering your and your families circumstances. Dr. Vermilyea is an expert, and has done nearly of these evaluations over a ten year period. He works with many of the top immigration law firms in MA. Our Services: • Asylum Evaluations • Hardship evaluations for cancellation of removal (I-601 Waivers) • Hardship evaluations to waive inadmissibility to the US • Victims of Crime, Evaluations for (U-Visa) • Victims of abuse by a US citizen or permanent resident (VAWA) • Victims of human trafficking for labor or sexual abuse (T-Visa) Dr. Vermilyea provides expert testimony in USCIS court as needed at an additional fee.
