Independent photographer, filmmaker and creative writer based in North West England working on commissions, projects and assignments for commercial, educational and editorial clients at home and abroad. Award-winning photography and an extensive archive of images available on request. Training provided in all aspect of photography, with creative storytelling courses on Scotland's west coast staged each summer. Critic and commentator on photography and football, with articles published regularly in various periodicals and publications. Regular, high-profile exhibitions both as an individual artist of as a member of the Document Scotland collective including shows since 2014 at Impressions Gallery, Bradford, Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh and the Martin Parr Foundation in Bristol. Ongoing long-term projects and assignments a speciality. In 2017-18, official photographer and videographer for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton Relay, which involved travelling and working in 35 countries over the course of 12 months.
