Collective Invention

Collective Invention is a San Francisco-based social innovation consultancy that brings innovation processes, systems thinking, strategic foresight and empathic design to bear on social problems. In our three practice areas of education (Learning), economic development (Deep Local) and sustainable production and consumption (Living) we equip leaders to innovate for the common good. We partner with clients to develop experiential future scenarios that guide strategy today; we explore values and behavior to understand changing needs; and we use the problem-solving practice of design to build new tools, approaches and services for learning, living and regional resilience. This process is undergirded by a deep attention to building and strengthening the capacities that will ensure fidelity of implementation and ongoing innovation.
