College Cellars
College Cellars of Walla Walla is a teaching winery located at the Institute for Enology and Viticulture at Walla Walla Community College. The square foot facility houses wine curriculum classrooms, a wine analysis laboratory, faculty offices, and the fully operational commercial winery. College Cellars of Walla Walla is one of the only two-year teaching commercial wineries in the United States. Our wines are crafted by students as a part of their study of the science of winemaking. The winery was bonded in September, 2003 and our first wine, a 2002 Sagemoor Vineyards Chardonnay, was released in May, 2004. The proceeds from the sale of College Cellars wine go to support the Enology & Viticulture program and students.
