College Choice Foundation

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist academically-talented, high-achieving students from economically-challenged and disadvantaged backgrounds seek opportunities in higher education. Each year, we select Scholars, and guide them through the challenging college choice process. Among other support, we interview and counsel Scholars and parents to identify a list of potential colleges and universities that provide financial and mentoring assistance for the admission process, and facilitate campus visits to help them reach their full potential. We have learned that it costs a minimum of to support each Scholar. Once enrolled in a college or university, we counsel Scholars as needed during their academic career. Our future goal is to also provide monetary assistance for expenses not covered by their financial aid package such as books, a laptop, transportation, travel abroad, emergency situations and other needs deemed necessary and appropriate as determined by the Executive Committee.
