Collin College Flextech

FLEXTech is an innovative program that supports mobility into information technology fields. It is funded through a Department of Labor federal grant to help support students. It is a unique flexible apprenticeship program designed to fit the needs of students and employers. COLLIN COLLEGE STUDENTS: Our FLEXTech team will work with you to develop career readiness competencies. We'll provide in-depth career support through career reflection, assessments, resume workshops, interview prep, LinkedIn best practices, employer panels, and more. Once you complete the program's pre-apprenticeship goals, you'll be ready to apply for apprenticeship opportunities. EMPLOYERS: We'll collaborate with you to develop and customize work-based learning opportunities (flexible apprenticeships) so you can cultivate a local talent pipeline sourced by qualified students in our FLEXTech program. If your organization already has an internship/apprenticeship program, then we'll simply review the program details to ensure it aligns with FLEXTech's goal of providing a paid on-the-job training experience.
