Originally formed in the 1970s, based on Dam Road in Barton upon Humber owned by the Collingwood family for almost 50 years. Collingwood Engineering was taken over by Trainload Limited in 2017, which was originally a client of Collingwood’s. Its current owner with a background in Engineering for over 25 years, saw an opportunity to fine-tune the business and build on its already strong foundations, reputation, and service. In 2020 the company moved to a new purpose built workshop and offices to improve on the services offered and to facilitate future growth. Focused on precision machining, our services include Vertical Boring, Horizontal Boring, CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Milling, Turning, Slotting, Drilling, Screw Cutting, Welding, and Fabrication to a broad range of sectors. Offering quality and a service from a highly skilled, dedicated team of engineers. Collingwood offer a professional and friendly service, from initial enquiry to delivery. For many years, we have offered urgent breakdown works and this has now been expanded upon to ensure that your urgent works are our priority, to ensure a fast response enabling you to be back in operation as quickly as possible, to minimize your downtime. As well as unplanned maintenance, we also work with companies on planned maintenance and batch works, which includes supporting many local and national companies with their onsite and offsite works.
