Fingerprints on Cards - Electronically captured fingerprint cards are printed directly on FD-258 fingerprint cards resulting in the lowest possible rejection rate. Less than 1% of our fingerprints are rejected - in the rare event your fingerprints are rejected we re-roll for free. 24-48 hour FBI background checks - Rather than waiting 12-14 weeks or longer for fingerprints mailed to the FBI, we use livescan to electronically transmit your fingerprints to the FBI for 24 hour electronic results and mailed results received typically within a week. Obtain your FBI background check for adoption, personal review, working abroad, studying abroad, attorney requests, challenging errors, legal name changes and other court related matters. Legal Name Change - For legal name changes in the State of Colorado both an FBI and CBI background check is required and the results must be completed within 90 days when your name change petition is filed. Rather than waiting 12-14 weeks for direct mailed FBI requests, we can process the FBI background check with electronic results returned within 24-48 hours and mailed results within 5-7 business days. Although we cannot transmit fingerprints to the CBI we will provide you with your fingerprints on cards which can be mailed or dropped off to the CBI for processing. The CBI mails your results within 5-10 business days after the fingerprint card is received. Once you have received the mailed results for both the FBI and CBI you can file your petition to change your name.
