Colorule

While teaching my high school drawing class, I encountered a student struggling to find the correct measurements on their ruler for their drawing. I taught the student multiple ways to use the ruler and none of these strategies seemed effective. Markers were laying out on the counter so I utilized these tools in tandem for the student to grasp a better understanding. I added color marks on the ruler to help understand measurements. This tremendously helped the student to realize the measurements and create a successful drawing. Other students in the class were asking to use the “special” ruler. I went online hoping to order a class set and to my surprise, I could not find a single product like this on the market. Henceforth, ColoRule became a reality!
