Colossal Order Ltd

Colossal Order was founded in 2009 with the dream of creating a city-building game. Starting with a small team, we focused on the mass transit simulator, Cities in Motion, taking what we learned with us into its sequel, Cities in Motion 2. In 2015, we realized our dream with the release of our first city-builder, Cities: Skylines, with support continuing all the way to 2023 and the release of its sequel, Cities: Skylines II. Inspired by the games we grew up with and loved, we continue to develop complex and engaging simulation games for PC that we’re passionate about, right here in our home in Tampere, Finland. We remain an independent game development studio, whose owners are also part of our 33-person team representing 10 different countries. We offer flexible hours, the option to work remotely, and prioritize open communication and collaboration. This allows our team to do their best work while balancing life outside the studio.
