Colourful Fable was founded in March 2021 to bring style, provenance and sustainability to the children’s book marketplace, while exploring how collectable books and toys continue to inspire modern minds and shape contemporary culture. We source vintage, antique and rare first edition books, along with collectable toys and curiosities, and we sell them online — bringing colour, modernity and convenience to an antiquated marketplace, and putting a fresh spin on the collecting process. From coveted book editions, to rare comics, collectable Smurfs, vintage die-cast toy cars or Victorian parlour games, all our items are colourful, collectable and sustainable – time-honoured curiosities to pass on to the next generation and which will appreciate in value with age.
