Colson X-Cel Ltd are UK manufacturers of high quality Instrument Ball, Needle, Manifold, Slimline Monoflange and Double Block & Bleed valves (DBB) valves using European sourced materials. Originally formed in the early 1980's as Colson Industries who were acquired in May 2014 by X-Cel Superturn Group who immediately invested in more new CNC machinery, New test rigs, MRP System and a CMM inspection system. X-Cel Superturn are a £25 million Sheffield based manufacturer of Components for the Subsea and Drill Tool OEM's and have Global contracts with FMC and GE Oil and Gas as well as supplying to NOV, Dril-Quip, Halliburton, Cameron as well as others. Our current product ranges from ¼” to 4” with new larger bore sizes, higher pressure valves and Subsea Products being introduced before March 2015. All major valve components are machined in house at our site in West Yorkshire using on-site capacity of 12 CNC machines and Group access to a further 40 if capacity requires. Materials of construction include all grades from Low Carbon to Duplex Grades and High Nickel alloys. All valves are 100% pressure tested prior to despatch. Colson X-Cel are ISO 9001:2008 Certified and produce products to comply with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23 for CE marked valves.
