As a charitable organisation, it has been nurtured and managed by people who wholeheartedly care about making a real difference in the lives of those who need support to learn and grow in an environment that best suits them. With a vision and values that are entwined with the whakataukī of "Poipoia te kākano kia puawai - nurture the seed and it will blossom", Comcol is intent on growing better lives by empowering individual success. Established as a private training provider and registered with NZQA at the highest rating of Category One, Comcol is renowned for the quality delivery of vocational training programmes, mentoring and pastoral care for foundation learners in safe and positive environments. Comcol is responsible for delivering MSD’s Youth Service and is accredited by Te Kāhui Kāhu as a Level 3 Social Service Provider. Our talented and dedicated youth coaches positively support the individual needs of taiohi. With five locations South Island-wide, Comcol has over 40 years' experience providing quality, hands-on learning and practical training to people 16+ years of age. For over 10 years, Comcol’s Youth Service coaching has provided valuable support for young people, empowering them to create a better future through education, training and work.
