Come Alive Long Beach

Come Alive Long Beach is #ForTheKids. We launched our pilot program in 2016 and continued to grow every year since. We are dedicated to inspiring the next generation through creative experiences, teaching them to explore and dream beyond limitation. As a volunteer run nonprofit organization, we are able to keep registration costs very low and partner with incredibly skilled artisans who donate their time and expertise to offer affordable, high-level art instruction to students from under-resourced backgrounds. We host an in-person summer creative arts camp during the month of July that includes our beloved Color Run, as well as pop up community events and art lessons throughout the year. Our formal programs are designed for students ages 6-15 years. Former lesson instructors have included artists in the prop and set design industry who have worked on hundreds of big screen motion pictures and shows like The Avengers, Hidden Figures, Legacies, Cobra Kai, Insecure, Nocturnal Animals and Blackish. Come Alive's has offered lessons from various sciences, guitar, song-writing, poetry, coding, screen printing, photography, dance, cooking, gardening, painting, 3D art, mixed media art, cross stitch, cultural arts and more.
