לפני 30 שנה, בשנת 1987, הקימו סיביל גולדפיינר וקרול גודין את בית האופנה הישראלי comme il faut. מאז הקמתו פועל כבית אופנה כחול-לבן, המעצב, מייצר ומשווק אופנת נשים איכותית ללא פשרות. השם Comme il faut הוא ביטוי צרפתי שאומר "כמו שצריך, כפי שהוא אמור להיות" אשר נלקח ממחזהו של צ'כוב "בת השחף". כחלק מתפיסת העולם הפמיניסטית, אנחנו מאמינות שכמו שצריך זה כמו שאת רוצה. המושג אופנה איטית - SLOW FASHION חרוט על דגלנו ומשמעותו ניכרת באופנה שהולכת עם הגוף ולא נגדו, אופנה חכמה, איכותית, שימושית ומאריכת שנים. מסיבה זו, אנו מתחייבות לפריטים על זמניים עשויים מחומרים איכותיים, בדים עמידים ועיצובים מושקעים וחכמים. קולקציות האופנה המקוריות של המותג מעוצבות בתל אביב ומיוצרות במפעלים קטנים בצפון פורטוגל. בנוסף למוצרים בייצור העצמי של המותג, מייבאת החברה מותגי אביזרים משלמים, מעצבי על מחו"ל הנמכרים בחנויות. כגון: סארטי, מומה, אופיסין קריאאטיב ועוד.
